This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at 9305 Lightwave Ave and remote.

Involves the development and implementation of the organization's information systemsand tools that are applied to clinical information. Works closely with clinicians across all hospital / healthcare departments to optimize effective use of systems. Coordinates analytical support for health management, including profiling, health economics, and business analytics / performance metrics. Defines systems and applications to support various functions. May provide customer service, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues or structure. May manage projects that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
Nine (9) years of related healthcare data analytics experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree in related area plus five (5) years of related healthcare data analytics experience.
Professional experience and proven success performing clinical workflows, user interface optimization, clinical decision support, rules development, data integration and mining, clinical ontologies and adoption of technology.
Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft SQL, stored procedures, queries, views.
Web development.
Slicer dicer.
EPIC Certifications in Cogito, Clarity, and/or Caboodle.
Advanced level experience with database management and various third-party report building tools such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, Cognos, and others.
Demonstrated ability to write clear technical specifications, presentations, training materials, user & technical documentation.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly analyze problems, develop effective solutions, and produce substantive reports and analysis.
Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Experience with Data visualization designing dashboards for user friendly presentation of metrics.
Experience utilizing Lean concepts and Gemba rounding principles.
Experience in a large, complex healthcare environment.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $78,900 - $179,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $37.79 - $86.16
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
