ERRG's Martinez office is seeking a fulltime hire who is self-motivated, independent, dependable, and a strong communicators to be a Contracts Manager.

Job Summary :

Contracts Manager position to assess, analyze, draft, review, negotiate and finalize contracts and service agreements with customers, subcontractors, service providers, and vendors. This role will be expected to drive the entire contract life cycle, from preparing templates to the execution and management of agreements. Responsibilities for this role include preparing contract documents for existing templates, reviewing and redlining agreements, negotiating contract terms, contract administration and managing communications with internal and external clients.

Primary Responsibilities :

* Draft contract document templates for approval and issuance, develop subcontracts, evaluate vendor proposals, and provide support to ERRG's project teams(s).

* Regularly apply contract knowledge to independently address a variety of contract issues.

* Negotiate contract terms, taking into consideration risk exposure and government contracting regulations.

* Provide thorough information to Senior Management for negotiated contractual terms deviating from standard contract terms and associated difference in risk exposure.

* Work collaboratively, effectively and efficiently with all internal and external clients

* Provide Senior Management with information regarding processes, procedures and contract development.

* Consistently adhere to contract and document tracking requirements, including accurate data entry and use of electronic contract management systems as available.

* Support the company's business strategies, by ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

* Manage processes for change management with the project team in accordance with contract documents.

* Proactively track, manage, and report schedule/cost impacts to ensure contractual compliance.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff regarding contractual matters.

Minimum Requirements :

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.

* 5-8 years' experience managing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contract agreements

* Strong knowledge of construction contracting and subcontracting language

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented

* Proven ability to communicate with staff at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

* Engineering or Construction Management related background

* Experience with U.S. Government contracting to include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

* Experience with various contractual arrangements in prime and subcontractor roles
