Job Description

Reporting to the EVP Global Supply Chain, you will drive the vision and execute the strategy for the Clinical Diagnostic Group. You oversee the Global Supply Chain functions - New Production Introduction, Life Cycle Management, Supply Assurance, Production Planning, Inventory Management and Lean Continuous Improvement globally. You will influence and partner with the CDG Business Groups, Finance, R&D and Marketing team on the long-term Supply Chain roadmap. Additionally, you will develop and support a strategy that delivers increased cost savings, accelerates sales growth, reduces working capital, and builds new capabilities to support the growth of the business and maximize customer satisfaction.

You will lead a team of 1,000+ employees across 8 global sites (North America, Europe, APAC) in transforming and executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity and employee engagement.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Lead and champion the overall Global Supply Chain strategy to exceed organizational objectives and drive for continued growth. Equally support the business group strategies to ensure holistic enterprise success.
  • Revitalize and lead the innovation and continuous improvement agenda for CDG Operations. Expand on current Lean initiatives and continue to emphasize a lean mindset across CDG operations.
  • Ensure the success of S&OP and S&OE activities through strategic partnership with global process owners by closing the gaps on allocations and inventory challenges.
  • Directs and coordinates the Global Operations functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes a succession and development plan for the Global Supply Chain organization employees.

We are looking for a proven change agent who is able to translate strategy into operations in order to support growth and demand in the global diagnostics sector. We are looking for a senior leader who has the ability to transform a large, global manufacturing operation and supply chain strategy through continuous improvement methodologies and drive an organization forward while creating and motivating a strong team capable of executing operationally. We are looking for a collaborative and commercial, business-minded operations leader who shows passion and energy and who is driven by constantly raising the bar and winning in the marketplace.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
  • Fifteen+ years' operational Supply Chain experience in relevant life science, diagnostics, medical technology industries.
  • Demonstrated track record in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Global Supply Chain environment in our industry.
  • Strategic leader with proven experience in S&OP, process excellence and change execution.
  • Excellent financial, analytical, and operational skills set.
  • Ability to function in a matrix organization with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the vision and roadmap for the Global Supply Chain development, including prioritization of tasks and allocation of resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization and multiple cultures. Effective presentation skills to present at Board of Directors level.
  • Global citizen, ability to travel internationally.
  • Outstanding knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, with a clarity for understanding the importance and interdependencies associated with each stage of the process - Plan, Source, Make, Deliver.
  • Fundamental understanding of Lean Six Sigma and manufacturing in Supply Chain Management
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, business process improvement and transformation.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $260,000 to $360,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance
