As the Senior Merchant overseeing Dockers US DTC (Direct-To-Consumer), Men's and Women's - you are passionate about clothing and the retail space and are focused on an excellent customer experience. You will report to the US Merchandising Lead and will manage the regular tracking of our DTC channels (Mainline, Outlet, Ecom). You will partner with team members (Commercial Teams, Marketing, Planning, Allocation, Finance, Global Merchandising) to deliver the best consumer experience. Prioritizing the consumer of US, you will understand consumer needs and how to balance cost and revenue to fulfill them.

About the Job

  • Amplify the Dockers DTC Vision, assortment strategy, and product architecture to deliver accelerated, sustainable, profitable category growth.

  • Manage DTC at Dockers, collaborating cross-functionally to push the best product assortments and stories to achieve financial targets. Understand and help with the segmentation of marketplace channels to build the best assortments and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with the Wholesale US merchandising team to segment Dockers assortments, while also driving commonality where needed with a continued focus on productivity.

  • Analyze sales and work with brand merchandising, global merchandising and design partners, markets, and planning teams to build product strategies.

  • Participate in design/merchandising key milestone meetings; propose and coordinate with market partners on the optimal product flow guide.

  • Partner with planning and commercial teams to manage the DTC open-to-buy and inventory needs.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reporting to aid in accurate seasonal plans and strategy creation, such as KPI weekly dashboard, top/bottom sellers, and monthly business reviews.

  • Analyze business to identify opportunities, provide recommendations and work in partnership with manager to accomplish.

  • Partner with management and marketing teams to create product messaging for digital campaigns based on product buys and current data analytics.

  • Support the coordination and review of all DTC-related activities to ensure accuracy and understanding of product intent.

  • Continue to stay up-to-date on industry trends and strategies.

  • Partner with teams across the organization including merchandising, design, planning, sales, global sourcing, marketing, finance, and operations.

  • Provide merchandise-related information, product knowledge to the service teams.

About You

  • 5 years of merchandising/buying experience

  • Strong retail math

  • Intermediate/Advanced level Excel (can perform advanced functions) and generate meaningful presentations from it. Other merchandising or product systems are of advantage.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $96,600- $146,200. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
