Position Summary
The Program Director IV serves as the Director of Implementation and Strategic Initiatives at the Bridge Center, a program of the Public Health Institute. The Director is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Bridge Center, under the day-to-day supervision of the Principal Investigators on the Bridge Center Executive Leadership Team. The Director's responsibilities include oversight of personnel, awards, agreements, and budget management; strategic planning and oversight of work activities; coordination of award PIs within the Bridge Center and development and partnership activities.
The Director implements and drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and funding goals. The position directs and oversees the program's strategic and long-range goal planning functions, with responsibility for overseeing organizational reviews, communicating results to the Executive Leadership Team and staff, and developing strategies based on organizational reviews. The Director analyzes and recommends emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, funding sources, internal business performance and business process improvement.
The Director reports to PHI's Chief Programs, Policy, and Government Relations Officer. Day to day supervision and direction is provided by the Bridge Center Executive Leadership team. In order to carry out the functions of their role, the Director shall be credentialed as a PHI Principal Investigator.
This is a regular full-time position.
Full salary range for this position: $171,079 to $269,792 per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $171,079 (minimum) to $220,436 (midpoint), based on 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

This position is classified as exempt based on the job duties. However, based on the FTE, salary level of the employee, or federal/state/local laws, the employee may be classified as nonexempt.
