Central Corporate FP&A is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to help our team lead the charge in evolving FP&A at Central. This position will play a key role in financial reporting to management and the Board of Directors, annual budgeting, and the monthly forecasting processes. Additionally, this position will serve as a data and analytics expert for finance, providing focused reporting, modeling, and analysis to support financial decisions and corporate strategy. This role will reach across the organization, collaborating closely with our Executive team, our segments and business units, as well partner with our other corporate functions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent technical, analytical and communications skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with varying levels of management across multiple teams. Attention to detail and a desire to advance status quo is critical for success within the role with a unique ability to also create and test hypothesis in their analysis.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Seek to understand the numerous and various systems and sources of data/information, including the linkages across them and how best to utilize them. This includes training and educating the broader finance organization, when needed, and partnering with IT to ensure a finance lens and completeness on any new financial data or analytics projects.
  • Maintain financial reporting, planning and forecast processes (calendars, templates/deliverables, communication), as well as perform total company consolidation, analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with segments/business units and corporate functions to provide financial support, insights and implement process and reporting efficiencies.
  • Employ insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to leadership and business unit partners, helping drive business results.
  • Conduct research, analysis, special business-related studies, and other projects as requested.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Demonstrate clear commitment to continuously improve quality, process, and standards. Actively seeking ways to eliminate non-value-added work, streamline business processes and resolve problems at their root cause.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTE
Education Requirement and Years of Experience:
  • BS/BA degree required. MBA and/or CPA desired
  • 3-5 years experience; must possess strong understanding of the financial statements and practical finance and accounting experience is required (Corporate FP&A or Big 4 Public Accounting preferred);
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity coupled with desire to make a difference
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and great attention to detail
  • Strong generalist able to deal with rapidly changing business priorities
  • Exceptional analytical skills. Skillful at unearthing data and ability to simplify complex analysis that delivers comprehensive understanding
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based organization, with strong relationship skills
  • Strong project management and presentation skills at a variety of levels
  • Computer literacy, and the ability to create complex analysis using Excel and impactful presentations in PowerPoint, are a must
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Strong PowerPoint, SAP, reporting packages (e.g., Hyperion), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) is highly desirable

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Approximately 0-10% travel
  • Hybrid Office environment (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
POSITION INFORMATION
This position pays $80,000 to $115,000 per year depending on experience.
