About the Role and Team

Join an innovative and dynamic team at Amplitude as aManager, Integrations & Intelligent Automations, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving enterprise integration and automation strategies. As ourManager, Integrations & Intelligent Automations, you'll lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for orchestrating integrations, APIs, and DevOps solutions across various platforms and applications. Leveraging your extensive IT experience, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish strategic directives, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of innovation.

As a Manager, Integrations & Intelligent Automations, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Enterprise Integration & Automations, leveraging platforms like Workato, UIPath, etc., to streamline processes across diverse applications and platforms.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers overseeing Integrations, APIs, DevOps, and managing shared business applications, maintenance, demonstrating strong integration design and coding expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish strategic direction, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation.
  • Architect scalable integration pipelines and promote an API-first culture, ensuring alignment with company objectives and technological requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in API integrations and security to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their Integration/API needs, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team and across the organization.
  • Translate business goals into technology solutions, defining integration & automation roadmaps based on business use cases.
  • Define systems integrations, design patterns, and development standards to support scalable, multi-system solutions.
  • Build an effective organization focused on Integrations, Intelligent Automations, and DevSecOps.
  • Proactively engage executive leadership on escalations, risks, and resource allocation needs, ensuring attention to critical areas.
  • Reuse and enhance digital modernization assets, methods, and collateral to drive efficiency.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with automation policies and principles.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews based on high engineering standards.
  • Perform architecture reviews and capability assessments, providing recommendations for application modernization and portfolio optimization.
  • Stay abreast of best practices, trends, and advancements in AI & RPA, contributing to build vs. buy decisions and laying the foundation for their use at Amplitude.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Approximately 12 years of IT experience, specializing in delivering complex enterprise systems integrations and automations
  • Hands-on technical leadership with at least 3 years of mentorship, supervisory, or management experience
  • Expertise in business ecosystems, SaaS, iPaaS, SOA, APIs, RPA, microservices, and event-driven architecture
  • Strong integration design and coding skills, particularly on platforms like Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi
  • Experience leading Release, Change, Development, or Program Management for DevOps
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, driving results through indirect influence
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and comfort with changing priorities and ad hoc requests
  • Proficient in collaborating with personnel across all organizational levels
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow or Zendesk, AWS, GCP, NetSuite, CPQ/CLM, Workday and ZIP integrations
  • Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere
  • Skilled in establishing new teams and processes following industry-standard best practices for DevSecOps
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps, Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and related tools like Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with release management coordination, monitoring tools, API testing tools, and agile methodologies
  • Proficient in source control systems like Bitbucket, GitHub
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with solid presentation abilities
  • Certifications in Workato (Must), Boomi (Nice to have), MuleSoft Developer & Architect (Nice to have), TOGAF 9 (Optional), Automation Anywhere or UiPath (Optional)
  • Additional experience with GCP, AWS, and Azure is a plus.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $161,000 - $241,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $178,000 - $267,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $178,000 - $267,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $161,000 - $241,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $161,000 - $241,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
