Job Description

Our client is looking for an Estimator/Sales candidate familiar with asphalt and concrete construction for a full-time, direct-hire role in the Bay Area, CA. The role involves building relationships with clients, assessing job requirements, and managing projects from start to finish.


Responsibilities:

  • Target potential clients and develop relationships to secure new revenue opportunities.
  • Assess job sites to determine key variables for pricing and project planning.
  • Collaborate with accounting, production, and management to ensure high-quality service.
  • Coordinate closely with production for profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits to gather client information firsthand.
  • Research labor costs, materials, and equipment.
  • Review quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Cultivate relationships with key contractors and vendors.
  • Manage change orders and submittals as required.
  • Promote to owners, developers, planners, architects, engineers, and any appropriate sales lead
  • Engage new clients, coordinating public relations efforts, participating in professional and/or industry organizations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of construction experience required.
  • Ability to read blue prints and specifications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet goals, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience in project management for paving and concrete installation.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
