Snowflake's App and Collaboration team builds platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake apps to enable data analysis and AI/Ml modeling, with access to powerful data and AI/ML API resources on Snowflake.

AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM TEAM YOU WILL:

• Contribute to highly impactful initiatives for platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake apps for Data Analysis and AI/ML modeling lifecycle workflows.
• Innovate and build highly secure and reliable software to allow customers to be AI and data-driven.
• Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global Snowflake.
• Revolutionize how organizations leverage data and AI as a strategic business asset.
• Ensure operational readiness of the platform and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance.

• 5 years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong fundamental computer science skills.
• Fluency in Java or Python or C++.
• Knowledge of AI/ML Lifecycle Infrastructure/tooling and database internals is a big plus.
• Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.
• Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $187,0000 - $240,000.
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
