We are working with a Marketplace Seller Education team for an experienced e-learning copywriter to join their team in San Bruno, California for a 12-month duration. As an e-learning Copywriter, you will be responsible for producing written scripts and assets for the Seller Academy video series. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills, high attention to detail, and experience in writing instructional copy for external customer education.

This candidate should be an eLearning expert, creative, and passionate about instructional design and educational content.

Job Title: e-learning Copywriter
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Location: Hybrid San Bruno, California
Pay Rate: $50/hr W2 commensurate with experience

What will you be doing?

• Work autonomously & self-manage and collaborate closely with XFN stakeholders.
• Compose video descriptions, keywords, and summaries for YouTube.
• Capture screenshots and visual references to inform our video production.
• Record basic screen captures of processes for use in video tutorials.
• Quickly pivot direction based on changing business needs.

What does the ideal profile look like?

• 4+ years of experience in an eLearning or product marketing copywriting role.
• Experience in tech, eCommerce, or SaaS industries.
• A robust portfolio showcasing marketing or educational writing for external audiences.
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience working with project management software (Asana).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience writing help documentation and video scripts.
• Exceptional grammar, writing and editing skills.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences using formal and informal tones.
• Experience working collaboratively with project stakeholders and designers.
• Self-starter who has a passion for processes and technical tools
• Experience with CMS (Contentstack, Salesforce) is preferred.
• Experience with project management tools including Slack, Asana, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with the agile instructional design processes.
• Experience creating videos and presentations with Vyond.
• Experience with image editing tools (Photoshop and SnagIt).
