Overview

The Talent Programs Partner is a strategic, results-orientated, project minded, and analytical Talent professional stewarding the design, development, and implementation of talent projects and programs that result in increased team and organization readiness, improved organization performance, and overall excellent candidate and team member experiences. The Talent Programs partner works with internal clients - both business leaders and HR - to manage team readiness projects that ensure the credit union has the talent capacity and capability to successfully execute on critical initiatives. In addition, the Talent Programs Partner leads the planning and execution of Patelco's talent lifecycle programs, including (but not limited to) performance management, individual development planning, and employee engagement surveys and action plans


Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops and delivers effective large-scale talent management projects and programs throughout the employee life-cycle using a broad range of tools including e-learning, distance learning, books/videos, knowledge-share platform and on-the-job training to meet our learning and business needs
  • Independently manages multiple and concurrent team readiness and talent program projects that range in size and complexity. Manages and executes project deliverables and deadlines independently and/or through others and ensure delivery of high-quality services. May oversee and steward projects managed by others.
  • Identifies, assesses, and engages stakeholders to ensure stakeholder needs and outcomes are integrated into the project or program plan.
  • Partners with the Director, Talent to define and support an integrated, fit for growth talent strategy and works closely with key stakeholders to ensure cross-functional talent strategies, initiatives and communications are seamlessly and effectively delivered.
  • Produces program/process documents, including customer / team member journey maps, business process flows, and procedures.
  • Creates presentations, communications, and educational/implementation materials to support talent programs (either independently or in partnership with others). Identifies and delivers to target audiences, in partnership with HR business partners, talent development colleagues, and/or business stakeholders.
  • Provides consultation and advice on project execution based on best practice research and partner with HR or internal clients to roll projects out to appropriate audiences.
  • Informs and elevates team readiness projects and talent programs using relevant internal and external data and information (e.g., trends, benchmarks, and industry research).
  • Work with key stakeholders to integrate performance management components into an overall organization timeline/context and integrate them with other departmental processes and initiatives such as merit increases, values, and goal setting
  • Develop assessments/evaluations and collect feedback for learning participants to measure progress; compile reports and analyses related to impact of developmental activities

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business or HR related area required or equivalent experience
  • HR, project management, and/or system administration training or certification
  • 10+ years' experience in a corporate environment with prior experience managing and executing medium to large HR / talent / learning & development projects/programs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Project management software proficiency preferred
  • An astute business thinker who partners effectively to design, develop and implant team readiness projects and talent programs based on leading talent practices to improve current and future team readiness and organizational performance.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies. Solid project leadership and delivery of high quality and high impact project / program deliverables. Proven experience incorporating leading practice research and relevant data with input from key stakeholders.
  • Continually curious and creative, developing novel solutions to big challenges and have an inherent interest in learning about new technologies and innovative project methodologies.
  • High impact collaborator across departments to solve complex problems and to provide high quality service. Combines enthusiastic leadership and detailed coordination to achieve project / program outcomes.
  • Thrives in ambiguous and dynamic work and business environments, with a focus on learning, agility, clarity of purpose, and speed to action.
  • Solid understanding of (and endless curiosity about) human and organization behavior.
  • Resourceful researcher who asks "why" in addition to "what" and "how".
  • Experience and proficiency with talent management & learning management technology platforms.

Target Base Pay

$112,161 to $140,201 / per year
