We are seeking a PAD Lead CRS to join our team at our program in Philadelphia, PA (Kensington).

THIS POSTING IS FOR 1ST SHIFT WITH WEEKENDS (MONDAY - FRIDAY 6AM - 2PM AND POSSIBLE WEEKENDS).

Earn $22.73/hr.!

The Lead CRS will work collaboratively with PAD program personnel which will include:

  • Partner with agencies and city personnel.
  • Triage for services both in and out of the field.
  • Work in collaboration with Philadelphia Police and Fire Department personnel to offer social service, shelter, and substance use disorder (SUD) service linkage for arrest diversion (Non-violent qualifying offenses), social nonarrest referrals, community encounters, and community members city-wide.
  • Conduct Street Outreach with and without PPD partners.
  • Transport clients via company vehicle when needed.
  • Support with in-office service delivery.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls to shelters, inpatient providers, and recovery houses directly serving individuals.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS).
  • Lived experience is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting and or street outreach.
  • Must possess a valid and active driver's license.
  • Must have the knowledge and an understanding of recovery principles and recovery-driven service system.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to desktop computing, email, timesheet management, and electronic health records, using Microsoft Office and Google. Applications, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work in a team setting; 90% of the work is done in the field with a partner.
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with city personnel including but not limited to Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) partners.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.
